Space Cadet Vibe is the analog/electronic brainchild of two of Lafayette’s premiere up-and-coming musical talents; Nick Golder (Bass/Synth, Sixdollarsuit), LD Miller (Harmonica, The Miller Family Band) and Adam Eikenberry (Drums, Sixdollarsuit).
SCV brings a chilled, bass-heavy vibe to performances, juxtaposing pulsating bass lines with eerie harmonica leads, calling to mind a brown-baggin’ rave in the heart of the bayou where hobos swap jugs of moonshine with flat-brimmed bassheads. The mutual talent is evident here, as the pair move through key and tempo like an otter in water, keeping the vibe fresh and the beats funky.
